Congratulations to Dion Lee on his show opening Australian Fashion Week last night!

Taking place in front of the iconic Opera House, Glynis Traill-Nash the Fashion editor of The Australian summed up the show: “A perfect meshing of everything Dion does so well, it had deconstructed tailoring, sportswear and modern glamour…”

The location was increasingly fitting as Dion Lee has just been named as the designer of the new Opera House uniforms – what an honour! The Opera House’s CEO Louise Herron announced the collaboration yesterday, saying “Dion is one of Australia’s brightest fashion stars whose work draws so beautifully on the sculptural elegance of Utzon’s masterpiece’”.
